The Mental Load – A Heavy Burden to Bear

To celebrate March 8, 2023, the Office of Equal Opportunity and its partners are proposing a week of events and activities that highlight the mental burden that sometimes interferes with life on campus. Conferences, round table discussions, an exhibition, a sign-making workshop or a treasure hunt with prizes to be won: a rich and original program spread over four days and open to the entire EPFL community.

STEM Passion exhibition, a journey through photographic images and interviews into Sciences through the gaze of female scientists. The exhibition has been enriched with 7 new portraits of women professors at EPFL, one per faculty and college.

Conférence de Marie Vialaret du collectif «T’as pensé à ?» sur la charge mentale, suivie d’une table ronde animée par Lola Saugy, co-présidente du Club Femmes EPFL Alumni, diplômée d’ingénierie mathématique en 2018 et actuellement économiste chez Pictet Asset Management.

Cet événement sera filmé puis disponible en streaming sur la chaîne YouTube @epfl-wellbeing.

  • Annika Månsson, experte du bonheur au travail, fondatrice et CEO de Happy at Work.

Travail de care et accès inégal au marché du travail en Suisse par Isabelle Zinn, docteure en sociologie, chercheuse et enseignante à l’UNIL.

Conférence organisée par Polyquity, ouverte à tout public et suivie d’un apéritif dans le hall du CE.
